Synopsis: This thriller comes to the big screen courtesy of V for Vendetta director James McTeigue. It is based upon American writer Edgar Allen Poe’s gothic tale of the same name and the story centres on the reclusive author himself (played by John Cusack) as he sets about helping to solve the mystery behind gruesome murders inspired by his own work.

When up and coming Baltimore police detective Emmett Fields (Luke Evans) investigates a string of gruesome murders, he soon realizes they bear a striking resemblance to the works of the relatively unknown local author Poe. Recruiting him to help piece together a pattern to the crimes, they attempt to stop the madman before he can strike again.
