BOOKING FOR

Synopsis: This drama from Shine and Snow Falling on Cedars director Scott Hicks revolves around newly-returned US soldier Logan Thibault (Zac Efron) who sets about searching from the unknown woman whose picture he has carried through combat. The film is based on the novel by Nicholas Sparks.

Iraqi war veteran Thibault is repatriated after three tours of duty. Whilst overseas he happened upon a discarded photograph of a beautiful woman with an inscription on the back that read ‘Keep Safe’. Believing this talisman was what kept him safe during his time in the war zone he decides to try to find her.

After conducting some research Thibault discovers that the woman’s name is Beth (Taylor Schilling) and he gets a job at her workplace in a bid to win her heart. However, because of Beth’s romantic history she is wary of relationships, and when a dark secret from her past rears up it threatens his hope for a happy future with her.
