Synopsis:
This German-language biopic of German writer and philosopher Goethe details his life as a young man and was directed by Philipp Stolzl.
After free-spirited and aspiring poet Johann Wolfgang von Goethe fails his law exams, he is sent to a sleepy provincial court to reform. However, once there he falls head over heels for Lotte (Miriam Stein), a young local beauty who is promised to another man.
