Synopsis:
The third entry in the animated Madagascar franchise finds the tight-knit group of animals joining a traveling circus in order to get back home.
Alex the Lion (Ben Stiller), Marty the Zebra (Chris Rock), Melman the Giraffe (David Schwimmer), and Gloria the Hippopotamus (Jada Pinkett Smith) continue their efforts to get back to New York after escaping to Africa.
However, dependent on the mechanical know-how of the notorious chimpanzees and penguins, their plan inevitably goes awry and they find themselves stranded in Monte Carlo, where they only manage to dodge animal controller Captain DuBois (Frances McDormand) by joining up with a traveling circus.
Led by the respected old Siberian tiger Vitaly (Bryan Cranston), the circus has seen better days. However, during the course of a tour through a series of European cities that ends in the heart of London, Alex, Marty, Melman, and Gloria help Vitaly, Gia the jaguar (Jessica Chastain), and Stefano the sea lion (Martin Short) rediscover their passion for show business and reinvent circus performance.
