This live action/animated adventure is the third in the much-loved series and once again stars Jason Lee as father figure Dave Seville to loveable singing chipmunks Alvin, Simon and Theodore who are voiced by Justin Long, Matthew Gray Gubler and Jesse McCartney.

 

This time round the quartet embark on an epic adventure along with the Chipettes (voiced by Anna Faris, Christina Applegate and Amy Poehler) aboard a luxury ocean liner which the ‘Munks and the ‘Ettes turn into their own personal playground.

 

However, when their antics causes the ship to be wrecked on a supposedly deserted island the group have to look for a way back to civilisation, and the more they explore their new island habitat, the more obvious it becomes that they aren't alone.
